Women Engineers participated in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Affiliate meeting hosted by Medtronic Women’s Network at Medtronic India Development Center (R&D) in Bangalore recently.

It was great to partner with Society of Women Engineers (SWE) for this professional development event at our R&D center, and we look forward to continued collaboration in the future”, said Kaustubh Patil, Engineering Director Medtronic India Development Center, while addressing the SWE meeting in Bangalore.
The session began with a brief overview of Medtronic by Kaustubh Patil, Engineering Director, MIDC. Paul Robichaud, Managing Director, SWE India then spoke about the impact of SWE and the various events organized by different SWE affiliates in India.
Bhawna Kumar, Manager at Sales Force Effectiveness, presented a workshop on ‘Negotiation Skills’ where all the women participated with great enthusiasm and took back lessons about BATNA (Best Alternative To a Negotiated Agreement).
This was followed by a discussion on the upcoming WE Local Conference which will be held in Bangalore between 11 and 13 April, 2019.
