Jessica Kaufman

 

Jessica Kaufman is the Associate Dean of Science and Technology at Endicott College in Beverly, MA where she oversees the Bioengineering, Computer Science, Engineering, and Mathematics programs.Jessica has been teaching bioengJessica Kaufmanineering, biotechnology, and engineering courses at Endicott College since 2008 and loves the opportunity to get to know students well at this primarily undergraduate institution. She has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.

Jessica has been a member of the SWE Women in Academia Committee since 2023 and is excited to serve as a special senator this year to explore barriers to advancement for women in academia. She is also a professional member of BMES and ASEE and serves as an ABET program evaluator for ASEE. At Endicott, she is the liaison of the collegiate affiliate with SWE-Boston and enjoys volunteering for community outreach events through the SWE-Boston chapter.
