Zoe Husted is a software engineer at Google based out of San Francisco, CA. In her professional role, Zoe builds machine learning models to improve and maintain a representation of the real world in Google Maps. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2021, starting her professional career later that fall. Zoe has been involved in SWE since her freshman year of college and has served in a variety of SWE leadership roles since 2018 at the collegiate, local professional, and societal levels.
Zoe served as President of the UC Berkeley collegiate SWE section during the entirely remote FY21 and following graduation she moved to Colorado and joined the Rocky Mountain professional section, serving as Secretary for FY23. In FY24, Zoe joined the Conference Advisory Board (CAB) as a general member and the Early Career Professionals Affinity Group (ECP AG) as Membership co-chair. After moving back to the Bay Area in 2023, Zoe joined the leadership team for the Golden Gate professional section, serving as the Funds Development chair for FY24-FY25.
Zoe is excited to serve as a SWE Senator for the FY25-FY27 term.
