Katie Oldaker joined the Society of Women Engineers in June 2022. Before SWE, she had several career paths, including as a welfare caseworker, an editor, and a copywriter. She is excited to bring together her love of both editing and equity to her role at SWE, where she works on crafting newsletters, polishing copy, and assisting with membership requests. Katie holds a BFA in Writing for Performance, Publication, and Media from Pratt Institute.
She lives in Pittsburgh with two calico cats. In her spare time, she makes candles, travels, and rewatches ER.
