Sohn Cook (pronounced “Shawn”) is the Development Manager of Strategic Partnerships. He is based on the west coast and has been with SWE since February 2019. Sohn oversees and manages corporate and foundation grants and individual, major, and planned giving. He also works closely with the Learning & Development and SWE Research Division (SWERD) teams to develop funding opportunities for program and research initiatives. Before joining SWE, he worked for various nonprofits and small businesses specializing in program development, technical and proposal writing, and professional communications.
Sohn earned his B.A. in English Rhetoric & Composition and his M.A. in English, and a Certificate in Technical & Professional Communication from California State University, Long Beach.
