Past Events
The SWE Africa Advisory Board organized a symposium on 25 March 2023 to learn from, celebrate, and network with African women. During the 2+ hour program, participants:
- Learned about the SWE network and how to connect with this community
- Heard from engineering leaders across the continent
- Participated in live breakout room discussions on topics ranging from outreach and entrepreneurship, to preparing for retirement.
- Celebrated the winners of the SWENext Africa Challenge and, for collegiate attendees, had a special discussion on The Power Within You
