DESCRIPTION:The SWE Early Career Professionals Affinity Group cordially invites you to our virtual event\, “FY26 Monthly Professional Development Series: March” on Wednesday\, March 25\, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT. This month’s session features two insightful presentations focused on feedback and industry insights in the field of healthcare. \nClaire Wemp will speak on “How to Navigate Bad Feedback and Give Good Feedback”. Claire is a Lead Application Engineer at Qnity Electronics\, a spin-off of DuPont that sells specialty electronic materials into nearly every market segment. She got her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and her masters and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of California\, Berkeley. She is an active member and former Treasurer for the Santa Clara Valley SWE Section and lives in San Jose\, CA with her husband and 1 year old son\, Benjamin. This presentation will include the following takeaways:\n-Feedback is a two-way street. In order to give\, you must be open to receiving.\n-How you communicate your feedback matters. Be Specific\, Timely\, and Actionable. \nKeval Patel will speak on “Analytics in the Field of Healthcare”. Keval is a data engineer and analyst with hands-on experience in healthcare and oncology analytics\, specializing in building reliable data pipelines\, validating complex clinical datasets\, and delivering actionable insights through dashboards and automation. She is experienced in Data Management & Analytics with a strong focus on data quality\, compliance\, and translating business and research needs into scalable\, data-driven solutions. She holds a Master’s degree from Boston University and brings a strong blend of technical expertise and real-world experience in translating complex data into meaningful insights for researchers.
