The Divya Karthick, Operations Manager at Caterpillar, for winning the prestigious 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐢 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.Divya’s exceptional achievements and leadership in the manufacturing sector have set her apart as an emerging leader in her field. Starting her career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in TVS Sundaram, Divya quickly demonstrated her capabilities by spearheading complex projects that resulted in significant improvements in productivity, quality, cost, and delivery of Foundry operations. With 10 years of valuable experience, she joined Caterpillar as a 6sigma Black Belt in 2021, where she successfully completed 17 6Sigma Projects and generated an impressive OPACC of $2.8M.
Currently serving as the Group Manager for Hydraulic Excavators at CIPL, Thiruvallur, Divya’s dedication to excellence is further evident through her roles as the Engagement Chair of the Young Professional Committee and one of the lead members of “Project Puthri.” This initiative supports the career growth of underprivileged girls under the mission of “Educate a girl, Educate a nation”. Her remarkable accomplishments and commitment to making a positive impact serve as an inspiration to all. Saranya Ashokkumar, Senior Design Engineer (Team Lead) at Emerson Process Management, for her outstanding achievement in winning the prestigious 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐢 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.
Saranya’s professional journey is truly inspiring. Starting as the only female engineer in her team, she faced a challenging situation when her team was dissolved due to market circumstances. Undeterred, she transitioned to the Global Drawings Team, where she rapidly acquired knowledge in the mechanical field and began supporting complex drawings and projects. Within just one year, she became a Senior Design Engineer, and her journey of successfully leading critical projects continued year after year.
Currently, Saranya leads the Middle East-Africa and Europe regions in the Global Drawings Team at Emerson. Her exceptional contributions have been recognized through prestigious awards, including the “Value Award” and the “Productivity Award,” highlighting her outstanding leadership and dedication. Beyond her professional achievements, Saranya actively contributes to the professional development of others by organizing tech talks and networking sessions outside of her busy schedule. Her resilience, expertise, and commitment to excellence are truly commendable. We are confident that her future endeavors will be marked by even greater success, and we wish her the very best.
