On November 9th, the SWE Bengaluru Affiliate hosted a special “Embrace & Engage” event, uniting SWE Global Ambassadors and community leaders in an inspiring, collaborative setting. Led by Megha Venkatasamy, President of SWE Bengaluru Affiliate, the gathering centered around meaningful discussions on diversity and inclusion, college outreach for skills development, and expanding SWE’s community to make an even greater impact.
A unique addition to this session was an art activity designed to encourage creative thinking and expression. This artistic twist created a vibrant atmosphere, enabling participants to exchange innovative ideas and envision a future with a stronger SWE community. The art session also fostered camaraderie, allowing attendees to bond and channel their ideas in a fresh, engaging way.
The attendees included influential women leaders from various STEM backgrounds who brought their insights, commitment, and passion for SWE’s mission. Together, they brainstormed impactful initiatives that will help SWE continue to support women engineers, grow our community, and advance diversity and inclusion.
