Return to Work Program
At SWE, we’re dedicated to supporting women engineers at every stage of their careers. The Return to Work Program is tailored to help women returning to the workforce after a career break. This program equips you with the tools, resources, and strategies you need to confidently transition back into your professional journey.

- As a participant in the Return to Work Program, you’ll have the opportunity to:

- Master the essentials of creating an impactful resume
- Understand key negotiation strategies to advocate for yourself
- Hone your interviewing skills to make a lasting impression
- Develop your personal “transition pitch” to showcase your unique value
- Discover best practices for building a strong support system during your transition
- Return to Work Program Format
Return to Work is a virtual cohort-style program running from August to March, with monthly sessions that include a mix of group discussions and peer coaching circles. Applications open in June.
To ensure you get the most from the program, you’ll be asked to complete pre-session reflections in preparation for each meeting.
