Sarah Koenig is the Associate Director for TF33 Contract Strategy & Execution. She oversees the sustainment contracts supporting the TF33 engine with both the United States Air Force and NATO. Previously, she spent 18 years in Operations, taking on roles of increasing responsibility, in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and project management. She began her career as a member of the Manufacturing Engineering Development (MED) Program at Pratt and Whitney, completing roles in both manufacturing and quality. Sarah has worked at both Pratt and Whitney and Collins Aerospace, in addition to other former United Technologies Corporation (UTC) divisions.
Sarah is a SWE Life member and has held leadership roles at the section, region, and Society level. Most recently, she held the role of Career Stages Work Group Lead on the newly formed Affinity Group Committee. She is also Co-Director of Camp Mujigae, a Korean heritage camp primarily serving the Korean adoptee community. She graduated from the International Engineering Program at the University of Rhode Island, earning both a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a B.A. in French and has stayed connected to her alma mater by serving on two industry advisory boards for the College of Engineering. She also holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Sarah is also a Den Leader in her son’s Cub Scout Pack.
In her spare time, Sarah can be found spending time with her husband and two kids, planning Disney trips (even if they’re not her own), running, or working quotes from Bluey into everyday conversation.
