The Baltimore-Washington Section (BWS) is one of four founding sections of the Society of Women Engineers. The Washington Section, along with Boston, New York, and Philadelphia were created in 1950. The section supports professional women engineers in DC, and parts of Maryland and Virginia. Throughout the year, BWS hosts Outreach, Professional Development and Social events for it’s over 600 members.
