SWE Baltimore-Washington Section Scholarship (Est. 2005)

The Baltimore-Washington Section (BWS) is one of four founding sections of the Society of Women Engineers. The Washington Section, along with Boston, New York, and Philadelphia were created in 1950. The section supports professional women engineers in DC, and parts of Maryland and Virginia.
Throughout the year, BWS hosts Outreach, Professional Development and Social events for it’s over 600 members. BWS currently maintains 2 scholarships for students. This scholarship was first awarded in 2005 and is dedicated to undergraduate sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students attending school in DC, Maryland or Virginia. Applicants must be US citizens and SWE members. Please apply online at swe.org/scholarships
