The University of Minnesota – Twin Cities is located in Minneapolis and is Minnesota’s only land-grant university. This university was founded in 1851 near Saint Anthony Falls on the banks of the Mississippi River. The SWE University of Minnesota – Twin Cities Collegiate Section was established in 1973. The SWE University of Minnesota -Twin Cities Scholarship was endowed in 2018 and is awarded to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing an engineering degree at University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
