Philip Thakadiyil is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Philip provides direct leadership to Finance, Accounting, Investments, Audit, Information Technology, Human Resources, Real Estate and Legal for SWE. In his role, Philip also oversees Administrative Services (including Scholarships, Awards, and other Recognition and Affinity Programs) and the Learning and Development Group (including Professional Programs, Student Programs, Internet Properties (swe.org, Learning Management and Social Media) and Content Development)). Philip is a native of St. Louis and still maintains his ties to his favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals, despite the exhortations of his Chicago coworkers. Philip joined SWE as the Director of Administration in 2013, was promoted to Vice President Finance in 2015 and elevated to CFO in 2017 to his current role which includes several strategic functions to further the success of the Society. Philip takes great pride and has contributed to the overall growth of SWE on a 12-15% per annum revenue, membership and asset basis.
