The SWE Early Career Professionals Affinity Group cordially invites you to our upcoming virtual event, “WE25 Recap Part 1” on Wednesday, April 1, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT! Did you miss WE Local Austin? Join us for this session as we recap ‘Keeping the Mentor-”Ship” Afloat’ with Rebecca Lin, Rita Munarwi, Joy Marsalla, Keyla Bastardo, and Elora Ghosh. This session addresses how awkward finding a mentor can be. Cold-calling, asking for help, and being vulnerable are often overlooked steps for the more glamorous companionship that mentorship is usually known for. In this panel, experienced professionals across career stages dive into how we can all find a mentoring relationship that serves both mentor and the mentee. Both students and professionals are encouraged to attend!
