SWE Spain, Cummins and Girls Go STEM Hackathon is an upcoming hands-on event that will take place at Colegio Brains International School Arturo Soria in Madrid, Spain, designed for 16-year-old students. The hackathon will bring participants together to collaborate in teams and create a fictional company from scratch, developing an innovative product with a strong focus on sustainability and the circular economy.
Throughout the event, students will use AI tools such as ChatGPT and StudioMagic to shape their ideas, analyze materials and design solutions that consider the entire product lifecycle from creation to reuse. Along the way, they will explore key topics including deep technology, digital skills and entrepreneurship.
Guided by mentors and industry role models, students will tackle real-world challenges, collaborate with peers and build essential skills such as leadership, teamwork and confident presentation. The experience will culminate in presenting their projects to a jury, making this a unique opportunity to learn, innovate and make a difference.
