The SWE Early Career Professionals Affinity Group cordially invites you to our upcoming virtual event, “WE25 Recap Part 1” on Wednesday, November 12, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT! Did you miss WE25? Join us for this session as we recap on ‘Climbing the SWE Ladder: SWE Leadership is for Everyone’ with Alyssa Acosta, Karissa Schipke, Zoe Husted, Emma Koslow, & Jenni Johnson. They’ll share their unique journeys and insights on how to get involved and excel within the society by joining committees and the senate. Each of the panelists hold or have held multiple leadership positions within the society while navigating the ups and downs of being an early career professional. Participants will learn about SWE’s structure, the myriad opportunities for involvement, and the essential leadership skills needed to make a meaningful impact. The panelists will discuss their experiences, challenges, and the strategies they employed to achieve their goals. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge on effective communication, teamwork, and project management, tailored specifically to the context of SWE. This session promises to empower and inspire attendees, equipping them with the tools and confidence to take on leadership roles and drive positive change within SWE.
