The “Tea” on Transfer: Expert Advice for Community College Transfer Students

The Community Colleges Affinity Group (AG) is pleased to offer this session to demystify the vertical transfer process for community college students, faculty, advisors, parents, and advocates. Transfer expert Tiffany Reardon of the University of California Berkeley will present!
No matter the state in which you attend community college–or your anticipated transfer year–you are welcome at this session. Position yourself for the best transfer outcome with expert advice! If you’re supporting transfer students as a professor, advisor, parent, or advocate, this session will make your support more effective.
As Director of UC Berkeley’s Community College Transfer Service, Tiffany Reardon leads a team committed to promoting community college students. She has held a variety of roles, including Director of the Mathematics Engineering, Science Achievement Program (MESA) at Skyline College; Assistant Statewide Director of Programs for MESA Statewide at the UC Office of the President; and Associate Director of Programs in the College of Engineering at UC Berkeley, where she created the Transfer Pre-Engineering Program (T-PREP).
Tiffany also hosts the website REUFinder.com, which provides resources about research opportunities for undergraduates.
