SWE ASCENT Awards recognize collegiate, early, and midcareer accomplishments in each of three tracks: academia, management, and technical; advocacy; and service to SWE.

The Beacon Award is an ASCENT award in the academia, management, and technical track and accomplishments in academia, management, and technology subtrack. This award honors an individual who identifies as a woman, who has made significant contributions for at least 20 years in engineering, engineering management, engineering education, engineering technology, or science related to engineering. Emerging Advocate

The Emerging Advocate is an ASCENT award in the advocacy track and accomplishments in advocacy for women in engineering subtrack.
