The summit began with an inspiring opening speech by Shirin Salis, Vice President of Human Resources at Trane Technologies. Following Shirin, Aditya Shrivastava, Director of Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Digital & UX/UI at Trane Technologies, delivered a powerful talk on how sustainability is integrated into every aspect of the company’s business model. He highlighted the company’s commitment to both environmental and social sustainability, stressing that sustainable innovation is a business imperative. Aditya also shared some of Trane Technologies’ latest initiatives in reducing energy consumption and minimizing environmental impact, underscoring that sustainability is critical to long-term success.

AI and Sustainability: A Powerful Alliance

The next session, presented by Prabha, focused on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is driving sustainability. Prabha explained how AI-driven analytics could optimize energy use, predict consumption patterns, and enhance the efficiency of industries. Her presentation highlighted that technology, particularly AI, is a powerful tool in reducing waste and achieving carbon neutrality.

A dynamic panel discussion followed, featuring five experts—Venkanna Mitaakala, Rohit BL, Sheena Chaudhary, Sudha Shetty, and Neerja Ganesh—who shared their insights on sustainability challenges and solutions.
