Enia Kakombu, FY26 AAB Chair

Eng. Enia Kakombu holds a Masters Degree in Project Management from NIPA, a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Information and Communication University (ICU) Zambia, a Diploma in Information Systems and Programming from NIPA as well as certificate in Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network from Zambia Air Service Training Institute (ZASIT). She also holds other several certificates from the Aviation Industry, such as Aviation Communication Systems, CNS Inspector, AMHS, Air Safety Oversight inspectors. She works for Civil Aviation Authority as a Communication and Navigation Surveillance Inspector and has more than 10 years of experience in the aviation industry. She is a registered member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ). She was the AAB Chair Elect from 2022-2024.
Her core area of expertise is to undertake, develop, implement and review the communication, navigation and surveillance systems, standards and procedures, to ensure safety and operational effective system.

Stella Chukwu, FY26 AAB Chair Elect

Stella Chukwu is a Nigerian working with Nigerian Airspace Management Agency as an Air Traffic Engineer. She is a core STEM person who is devoted to helping the young mind grow their dreams into a reality. She has been a SWE member for 5 years plus. She grew through the SWE leadership ladder as the secretary/outreach & membership lead to SWE Africa Taskforce and transitioned to SWE Africa Advisory Board member for West African Region. She has been a SWE Global Ambassador for 4 years. She is committed to helping women find a spot for themselves in their work place and environs. She has dedicated herself to be a bridge for others to cross into a fulfilled professional and personal life.
