About SWE in Europe

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a global, multi-disciplinary community dedicated to empowering women in STEM and the organisations they work for. We provide learning and networking that accelerates career development, plus guidance and support for those creating more diverse and inclusive work environments

With SWE, women in STEM aspiring to launch or advance their careers can achieve their full potential. Every individual success story is another step towards our goal – closing the gender gap in technical roles.

Since 2012, SWE’s European community has been actively advancing women in STEM through affiliates in the region, the work of global ambassadors, annual roundtable discussions, and the WE Local conference. As SWE celebrates more than 10 years in Europe, we’re rolling out a new approach to further support and grow our community with the establishment of a regional partner council, specialized content, new volunteer opportunities, and an experienced staff team in Brussels.
