Since joining SWE in 2019, Emily Burnett has been responsible for implementing SWE’s global business plan and growing member engagement outside of the United States to bring high-quality professional development and opportunities to women in STEM. Emily’s leadership extends to SWE’s extensive pre-college programs, which foster creativity, curiosity, and a passion for STEM by offering girls and young women valuable learning experiences, mentorship, and a supportive community.
Emily has a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from the University of Illinois and an M.S. in Public Service Management from DePaul University.
