Emory graduated from Oberlin College and Conservatory in May 2023 with a B.A. in Religious Studies and a minor in Jewish Studies.
Prior to SWE, Emory held several internships with nonprofits, most recently interning with Sandhills PRIDE, a local nonprofit that focuses on creating an inclusive and welcoming community for LGBTQ+ folks in rural North Carolina.
She was also a Multi-Faith Letters Associate for IRF Secretariat, an international multi-faith organization, and was an intern for New Rural Project, a local nonprofit that engages young and marginalized residents in rural North Carolina communities through increased civic and electoral education and engagement.
