Mazula NeliaNelia Mazula is a Global Account Manager for Siemens. She has over 20 years of experience in the engineering and software industries. She was an early employee for 2 software start-ups purchased by Siemens and has held numerous management and global leadership positions. She was the managing founder of a retail manufacturer and distributor that distributed in over 20 HEB locations in Texas.

Nelia is the Past President of the Federation of Houston Professional Women and Society of Women Engineers Houston Area Chapter. She has numerous certificates and over 20 published technical papers on digital strategies. Nelia has 5 software patents. She was recognized in her birth country of Mozambique for her work on identifying the commercial opportunity of the natural gas condensate.

Nelia was recognized globally as a technologist featured in the National Inventor’s Museum. For her leadership and innovation, she has appeared in numerous media outlets including KHOU Great Day Houston, KPRC News, Univision, and The Houston Chronicle. She was recently honored by the Houston Business Journal as a leading woman. Nelia is a certified professional project manager, holds a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from ASU and an MBA from INSEAD.
