Section Selected, Endowed Scholarship
The SWE San Diego Section was founded in 1982 and is now one of the largest SWE sections in the country. The members of SWE San Diego come from diverse areas such as government, defense, research, consulting and manufacturing. The SWE San Diego Scholarship was endowed in 2021 and is awarded to incoming freshmen through senior undergraduate as well as graduate students from or studying in the San Diego area while pursuing an engineering degree.
