According to the World Economic Forum Global Gender Gap 2024 Report, 30.8% of Indian graduates in engineering, manufacturing, and construction were women. The number of women participating in undergraduate and doctoral programs in Engineering and Technology in India has changed over the years. According to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the number of women enrolled in the undergraduate program has decreased over time. In 2020-21, women made up 30.2% percent of undergraduate enrollments in engineering and technology.
